By downloading, accessing, or using the Lewis mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any features of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Lewis provides AI-powered vehicle diagnostic information, maintenance tracking, and general automotive guidance through an AI assistant. The App connects to vehicles via OBD2 Bluetooth adapters to read diagnostic data.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice

Lewis is an AI assistant, not a certified mechanic, and cannot physically inspect your vehicle. AI-generated advice may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific vehicle or situation.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KUNOLU APPLICATIONS INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to mechanical damage, electrical damage, engine damage, or any other form of vehicle damage
• Personal injury or death resulting from reliance on information provided by the App
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
• Any damages arising from any advice, analysis, or recommendations provided by the AI assistant
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the content provided

5. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of any information provided
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

6. Assumption of Risk

By using this App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Vehicle repair and maintenance can be dangerous
• Improper repairs can cause serious injury, death, or property damage
• You assume all risks associated with acting on information from the App
• You will always consult a qualified professional before performing any vehicle repairs
• You will not rely solely on the App for safety-critical decisions

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kunolu Applications Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any damage caused to your vehicle or property
• Any injury to yourself or others

8. Subscription and Payments

• Premium features require a paid subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription terms and refund policies are subject to the respective app store policies
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

9. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Kunolu Applications Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kunolu Applications Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
